Terms of Service

These terms are a binding agreement between you and Rishi Sharma, operating Flipbookz ("Flipbookz", "we", "us"), based in India. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Flipbookz.

Flipbookz turns documents — public Google Docs, Slides, Drive PDFs, and uploads — into flipbooks you can read, publish, and share, with optional analytics, lead capture, access controls, and publishing tools. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may impose reasonable usage limits per plan.

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to validly enter this agreement in your country. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You keep ownership of everything you upload or link. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and promote the service — for example, rendering your document as a flipbook, generating covers and previews, and listing published flipbooks in Explore.

You are responsible for your content. Only publish material you own or have the right to share — including Google links, which must point to documents legitimately shared as "anyone with the link can view". Publishing someone else's work without permission is a violation of these terms.

You agree not to use Flipbookz to:

• publish content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that violates others' privacy;
• distribute malware, phishing pages, or deceptive content;
• send spam, harvest data, or scrape the service at scale;
• circumvent access controls, rate limits, or plan limits;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.

If you believe content on Flipbookz infringes your copyright, email rishi@startraven.com with the work concerned, the infringing URL, your contact details, and a statement that you own the rights or act for the owner. We remove infringing content promptly and terminate repeat infringers' accounts.

If you enable lead capture, subscriptions, or access gates, you are the controller of the data readers submit through them. You must use it lawfully, honour readers' deletion requests, and not use it for spam. We process that data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

Paid plans are billed as subscriptions through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your account then returns to the free plan. Prices may change with advance notice — changes apply from your next renewal, never retroactively.

If something is wrong, contact us at rishi@startraven.com within 7 days of a charge. We refund in full when the paid features were materially unavailable or defective, or when a charge was made in error (including renewals you did not intend, provided the plan's paid features were not used after renewal). Other refunds are at our discretion, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

You may stop using Flipbookz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these terms, for non-payment, or if required by law; where practical we will notify you and give you an opportunity to export your content. Sections 4, 9, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

Flipbookz is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for content published by users or for documents hosted by third parties such as Google.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹5,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date above, and — for significant changes — by email or in-product notice. Continuing to use Flipbookz after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
